I’m Katie and I’ve been photographing weddings for the past 9 years and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve been featured in places like Style Me Pretty, Nantucket Magazine, and Glamour.com and I’ve photographed destination weddings in the US Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
Traveling to beautiful and special places with my clients is such an honor, and I’m so grateful such incredible couples trust me to capture their wedding day.

I STAY AT THE RESORT
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]I always arrive to the wedding resort site at least 2 days before the wedding. This gives me time to scope out the area and have plenty of beautiful spots picked out to take photos on the wedding day.
This also allows me to meet up with you to go over any final details in person!

I PHOTOGRAPH MORE THAN THE WEDDING DAY
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Have a rehearsal dinner or fun event planned for the day before the wedding? I’m there to capture that too.
One of the biggest perks of having a destination wedding is having all of your guests on site before the wedding day. This is another opportunity to capture your celebration whether it’s documenting the rehearsal dinner, hopping on the sunset catamaran cruise with you, or jumping in the pool with my GoPro to capture the crazy fun foam pool party!

I CARE ABOUT OUR RELATIONSHIP
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Wedding days are emotional and intimate. So, you want to completely trust and be comfortable with your photographer.
The reason I’m able to capture such authentic moments between my couples, is because they fully trust me and they feel like I’m just another friend there on the wedding day. If there’s one thing to keep in mind when picking your photographer (aside from loving their images) is “would I enjoy spending an entire day with this person?”
Together before the wedding, we’ll establish a fun and trusting relationship so the wedding day is a super fun day filled with creating beautiful imagery.

I HAND EDIT EVERY IMAGE
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]After the wedding day is over, I carefully go through all of the images we created and edit all of the “keepers.”
4-6 weeks after the wedding, you’ll receive an email from me containing your full online gallery. Once you log in to view all of your amazing images, you’ll be able to download all the hi-res files so you can print on your own, make books, and share with friends.
All of my images are hand edited by me (never outsourced!) and I always post a preview within 48 hours of the wedding so you don’t have to wait to get a glimpse of the magic we made together.
