That’s me! (and my husband) on our very own wedding day in August 2019.
After planning a wedding of my own, I have a whole new appreciation for couples going through the planning process. On my wedding day I didn’t worry for one second about photography. I spent the entire day focused on enjoying my guests and the amazing day Brent and I planned. That’s because I hired someone I completely trusted.
And that’s exactly the type of service I provide to my couples. You focus on having fun, and I focus on creating incredible images on your wedding day.
I’ve been photographing weddings and super cool couples for the past 10 years. I’ve been featured in places like Style Me Pretty, Nantucket Magazine, and Glamour.com and I’ve photographed weddings from Maine all the way down to the US Virgin Islands. Although being featured in magazines is pretty cool, my biggest accomplishment is working with and creating real, emotion-filled images with all of my 120+ couples.
Some things I couldn’t live without:
-50 Cent (or any early 2000’s rap really)
-Cape Cod Salt & Vinegar Chips (my mouth just watered)
-Warm Weather (I live for the Summer)
-Espolon Tequila (I drink it on the rocks with a squeeze of fresh lime :)
-Dancing (you’ll most likely find me groovin’ with you on the dance floor at some point!)
The images we create together will become part of your story; part of your history. Photos will be processed so that they look amazing today, and look amazing and relevant 20 years down the road. Collections are delivered in a mix of color & black and white.
If there’s a constant in the feedback I get from my clients, it’s how much fun they had during their session (yes, even the guys.) The best images are made when you are relaxed and just having fun, so that is always the goal of our time together. Yes, I have enough dumb jokes, dance moves and awkward shooting positions to last a lifetime.
Let’s face it – wedding days can get stressful. The florist left without decorating the cake, your dress is doing something funky, and you totally forgot a hand mirror and need to use the front camera of someone’s iPhone for a last minute fix. Yes, that’s all happened while I’ve been on duty, and it’s part of my job to be a calming force if ever something like that should go down on your big day.
Need a makeup artist referral? Want input on wedding day timeline? Want me to carry your lipstick in my camera bag so you can touch up wherever throughout the day? That’s all great and dandy. I’m here to help leading up to the wedding day or session and always there to help throughout the day.
