At one point in time, Samantha and I went to the same Middle School together. I probably had braces and thought it was cool to have blue elastic bands over them (you remember) and she was probably one of the older girls I hoped to be like someday. And I’d have to say I have the same feeling today (minus the braces.) Although our age gap seems less extreme now, I hope that when I’m in the midst of planning a wedding I’m as sweet and calm as Samantha. In the short time I’ve gotten to know her (and Nick of course!) I’m counting down the days until their Gibbet Hill wedding in Sept.
